One of the members of the Silo Owners Association of Iran stated: In determining the storage wage, no consideration is given to the amount of investment of the silo builders and with the income that silo owners have, only their annual expenses are covered by a little profit and with this process, their initial investment takes up to 50 years instead of 5 years.
In this situation, it will not be possible to renew and supply the worn and depreciated parts even by receiving a bank loan, because they do not even have the financial ability to receive a loan.
He said: Government policies and decisions are not long-term and this is a problem that leads to the disappointment and failure of industry activists in the middle of the road. In fact, why the movement of silo construction with the aim of keeping wheat safely away from pollution should fail and cannot continue, was this government policy targeted for several years?!
