Strategic Expansion of Oilseed Imports

Mr. Soltani, Executive Vice President of Armani Middle East Trade Development Company

The biggest obstacle today to importing oilseeds, as with other essential commodities, is the restrictions imposed by the Ministry of Agriculture-Jihad on issuing import permits and submitting order registrations. These restrictions have reduced the volume of oilseeds entering the country to about a quarter of what they were last year, a figure that is extremely low and worrisome.

Since the beginning of 1404 (April 2025), Armani Company has imported several shipments of soybeans from various sources, including Argentina, Canada, and Ukraine.

This year, Armani Company has set a record for simultaneously managing a daily production capacity of 3,000 tons of oilseeds in various factories. What distinguishes Armani Company in this field is the import of high-quality seeds, the appropriate quality of which has satisfied oilseed factories and customers of the products produced and ensured sustainability in the oil and meal market supply chain.
