The new technologies are designed to improve production efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance operational reliability for the flour and animal feed industries.

A key innovation is the use of Torque motors in the new roller mills. These motors significantly reduce energy consumption while requiring less installation space. By eliminating conventional power transmission systems, they also minimize energy losses and maintenance needs, while providing more precise machine control.

The company also unveiled Norm Bess, a new brand specializing in industrial energy storage systems. The batteries can be charged from the power grid, solar panels, or diesel generators, and are designed to keep production lines running during power outages and help factories manage electricity demand during peak hours. A fully charged system can supply power for up to four hours, and each unit is designed to last around 10,000 charge-discharge cycles, equivalent to an operational lifespan of approximately 25–30 years.

Imas has completed 60 projects in Iran’s flour and animal feed sectors, including 52 flour mills and 8 feed plants, and is currently implementing several new projects across both industries.
