10% increase in grain unloading at Amirabad Port

Considering the appropriate infrastructure created by the private sector for storing grains and basic commodities with a capacity of 409 thousand tons in silos and 161 thousand tons in warehouses constructed by the public and private sectors, the total of these capacities is 570 thousand tons in static form, which is adequate for importing various grains and livestock inputs based on the port’s needs.

Since the beginning of this year, more than 3 million tons of grains and livestock inputs have been imported to the port and supplied to the consumer market, which is a 10 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
