Boosting Iran-Pakistan Trade via CPEC Corridor Enhances Grain Imports
Mr. Amanollah Shahnavazi, Vice President of the Iran-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce

President’s recent visit to Pakistan was promising for the development of trade between the two countries, with a target of $10 billion from the current exchange of about $3 billion and the signing of 12 memorandums of understanding in various fields, including economic affairs, between the two countries.
Also, the agreement to connect Gwadar Port to Chabahar Port and develop border markets during this trip could be very helpful for our country in maintaining and supplying needed goods, given the country’s acceptance of barter trade, as well as possible insecurity in ports in Iran and emergency situations.
