Soil erosion and water shortage are the major problems of Iran’s agriculture

Having pointed out that the country’s food security faces many challenges such as instability in water resources, climate changes, soil erosion, lack of investment, etc., the Minister added: The emptying of the country’s strategic reserve of water resources is one of the biggest agricultural problems. Also, soil erosion and water shortage and reduction of underground reserves threaten the country as a problem.
