Increasing grain storage capacity in Amirabad Port to 490,000 tons by the end of the year

Currently, the static capacity of grain storage in silos is about 400,000 tons, which will increase to 490,000 tons by the end of this year with the completion and operation of the silos under construction.
The presence of numerous public and private sector warehouses has made Amirabad Port a grain hub in the northern ports of the country and since the beginning of this year, 1,425,971 tons of grain and livestock inputs have been imported and unloaded in Amirabad Port, which is a 12% growth compared to the same period last year.
Currently, 43 private sector investor companies have invested in Amirabad port in two ways, long-term and B.O.T. Of these, 32 projects in the fields of production, services and creating added value have been put into operation and are operating, and another 11 projects are under construction, some of which will be put into operation by the end of this year.
