Sustainable Grain Imports Management
Mr. Iraj Rezaiyan, CEO of Rastak Holding

Sudden changes have made the process of clearance and supply of goods complicated and time-consuming; therefore, by launching a centralized system, the government can ensure timing and consistency in the implementation of regulations and avoid spur-of-the-moment decisions.
In addition, active participation of the private sector in the development of directives can increase their effectiveness.
Stability of trade policies: an important demand of input importers
The representative of Rastak Holding listed the most important demands of importers as including stability of trade policies, facilitating the foreign exchange allocation process, reducing administrative bureaucracy, and creating transparency in the distribution system.
He emphasized the role of trade unions in conveying concerns and creating constructive interaction between the private sector and the government and said: “If these organizations have independence and an expert approach, they can be an effective bridge for better market regulation.”
