Gulfood 2026 at two exhibition sites; a new record for the global food trade

Gulfood 2026 was held in Dubai in late January, and for the first time was held simultaneously in two venues: the Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre. This expansion was made in response to the rapid growth of the global food and beverage market and the increasing demand from participating countries and companies, significantly increasing the exhibition capacity of the event.

Thousands of companies from dozens of countries participated in this period, offering a wide range of products including grains, edible oils, dairy products, meat, prepared foods, beverages, health-oriented products and supply chain technologies. The strong presence of international buyers, distributors and logistics companies made this exhibition one of the most important platforms for connecting supply and demand in the global food market. India had the strongest presence, and countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, Brazil, Australia, Argentina, Canada and the United States also participated with large pavilions.

From Iran, prominent brands including Tak Macaron, Damdaran, Zar Macaron, Shirin Asal, Naderi Food Industry, Rahmani Group, Alis Holding, Tabiat Holding, Sirang Factories, Sunich Group, Mana Food Industries, Sarzamin Food Group, Sadat Qazvin Dry Fruits, Sanat Tejarat Anahita Trading, Mojtaba Food Industries, and Sadra Gostar Food Industries of Bonab were present and introduced their export capabilities.

Alongside the classic food sectors, there was a particular focus on innovation, sustainability, supply chain digitalization, logistics, cold chain and storage infrastructure. Experts see this period as a sign of intensifying global competition and strengthening the Middle East’s position as a strategic hub for food trade.

Negashteh Magazine team was also present during this period as the official media partner of the exhibition and followed the event closely through field coverage, interviews with industry activists, and preparation of specialized reports.
