Oman invests in Incheh Borun to establish grain and basic commodities terminal

Based on the request of the Omani investor (MERAANI TRANSPORTS) to invest in the logistics village of the free zone to establish a terminal for unloading and loading grains and basic goods in order to activate the north-south corridor in the eastern branch of the Caspian Sea, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two parties in the form of joint cooperation issues.

Also, grains, high-quality diesel fuel from Russia, and coal, potash, sugar, and dried fruits will be among the important commercial products in the first phase of the project, which will be exchanged in the markets of countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and the Persian Gulf countries through rail and road transportation. In the continuation and supplementary phases of the project, it is anticipated to create added value in products and transformation and supplementary industries.
