The ports of Samsun and Trabzon also play an important role in connecting Iran to the Black Sea region, Russia, and European markets.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond these routes, Caucasus land corridors, including the Georgia\u2013Armenia\u2013Iran route, as well as Central Asian rail networks through Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, form part of a long-term strategy to enhance supply chain flexibility.<\/p>\n<p>A portion of essential commodity importers are still awaiting foreign exchange settlement for shipments that have already been imported and distributed in the domestic market. The value of these outstanding claims and unresolved obligations is estimated at around 4 billion dollars, affecting the financial capacity of industry participants.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, expanding logistics infrastructure in the Caspian region, strengthening transit cooperation with Turkey and Central Asian countries, and resolving importers\u2019 financial constraints are key factors in
