In other words, to continue importing rice, rice producers are forced to raise capital that is almost five times higher than before, which places additional financial pressure on importers.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, one of the main issues is the non-payment of outstanding foreign exchange related to rice imports since February last year. A significant portion of the rice imported at that time has long been in the consumption cycle, but the foreign exchange has not yet been paid to the importers.
