\"\"<\/a>According to the law, biosafety includes a set of measures, policies, regulations and methods to ensure the exploitation of the benefits of new biotechnology and prevent the possible adverse effects of the application of this technology on biodiversity, human, animal, plant health and the environment; while biosecurity is considered a set of preventive measures to reduce biological risks such as the spread of infectious and contagious diseases in humans and animals, and diseases of agricultural products.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In this regard, the Iran Veterinary Organization<\/a> is responsible and plays its role in both the fields of biosafety and biosecurity.<\/p>\n

Iran Veterinary Organization has relations and cooperation with the FAO, which is carried out especially in the field of improving the quality of veterinary services, monitoring the quality of livestock products and improving related processes. Cooperation with this organization can make a significant contribution to learning best practices and exchanging technical knowledge and experiences. European Union standards and guidelines are generally considered the benchmark for laboratory technical requirements.<\/p>\n

Also, the technical and health requirements of the export destination countries are the basis for the specifications required for tests. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also has food-related offices in this regard, which hold annual meetings and invite Iran, and their tests are cited by Iran. Regarding the adequacy of measurement tools, there is also a guideline for evaluating test methods in the European Union, which is used.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
