Under the agreement, AD Ports will hold a 51% stake and Semurg 49%, with total investments exceeding $50 million \u2014 $30 million of which comes from AD Ports.<\/p>\n<p>The terminal is a strategic part of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, aiming to enhance Kazakhstan\u2019s export capacity and streamline cargo transit to European markets. Once the first phase is completed in 2026, the terminal will handle up to 570,000 metric tons annually, expanding to 1.5 million tons in the second phase.<\/p>\n<p>Semurg\u2019s CEO highlighted that the project will help diversify Kazakhstan\u2019s export corridors and contribute to the economic development of the Mangystau region.
