\"\"The amount of capital and transactions in the southern market is much higher than that of the northern market, and this has caused the number of players in this market to be limited. On the other hand, most of these importers and players, by strengthening their structure, have built a dedicated dock in the southern ports and are completely under their control and authority from the moment the ship docks to the delivery of the cargo.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But in the northern market, the game is played in a different way. During harvest seasons, the volume of demand and, accordingly, the amount of entry into the country is usually very high and this causes many importers of basic goods, who have not seen enough provision for their warehouses and storage sheds, to pay heavy demurrage due to the long stoppage of their cargo ship.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, despite the existence of strict laws and standards in Iran, we face quality problems regarding imported grains. In addition, unfortunately, the international inspection companies that have the task of controlling the quality and quantity of the cargo on the ship and must issue the inspection certificate, despite having the reputation and well-known names, do not have a strong and acceptable performance. Therefore, it is necessary for cargo owners or suppliers to have their authorized representatives present at the time of loading at the origin and unloading at the destination.<\/p>\n

One of our basic problems in the transfer department is that the currency allocation for the buyer is not done at the same time as the documents are traded on the LC. But recently, the VTB agency announced that it can apply these two processes of currency allocation and commercial document transaction at the same time. If this issue is realized, insurance and logistics problems will also reach the lowest possible level.<\/p>\n

Currently, Iranian businessmen are forced to make double investments at the same time to import grains. Once they buy goods with free currency and with personal capital, and after declaring the goods and selling them in the Bazargah Comprehensive System, it takes about 4 to 5 months for the currency to be allocated to them. Hence, if we can work with LC, the situation will be much better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
