But the point to be pondered is, will self-sufficiency in wheat production be achieved considering the weather condition, agricultural land and the condition of wheat varieties and the amount of cultivated area?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The claim of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad that there is no need to import wheat is good news because it reduces the government\u2019s expenses for imports and the government\u2019s budget is also saved. But the point to be pondered is, will self-sufficiency in wheat production be achieved considering the weather condition, agricultural land and the condition of wheat varieties and the amount of cultivated area?<\/p>\n<p>The total amount of wheat production is always faced with an estimate, this estimate may be accurate when it is too late to act. Therefore, even though the area under cultivation and the average production of wheat may have been calculated correctly, there should still be a plan to import wheat for emergency situations. Especially, in a tropical province like Khuzestan, it rained during the harvest season and affected some of the fields. This possibility also exists for other provinces.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Sanadizadeh emphasized that: Along with domestically produced wheat, imports should also take place.
